We recently had the opportunity to bring our first Dalgona Challenge experience to the National Museum of Australia’s K-Fest: Korean Cultural Festival. The event attracted thousands of visitors and celebrated Korean culture through food, performances, and interactive experiences.

As part of the festival, we introduced our Squid Game-inspired dalgona challenge, where participants had 90 seconds to carefully carve out the umbrella shape without breaking.

Throughout the evening, we saw strong engagement from visitors of all ages. Many were excited to try the challenge, while others enjoyed purchasing dalgonas as a nostalgic Korean treat. The combination of a simple game mechanic and prize system created a fun and engaging experience that naturally drew attention and encouraged participation.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of K-Fest and look forward to bringing the Dalgona Challenge to more events in the future.
